1. About Let's Bail

2. Information We Collect

• Phone number — collected when you participate in a plan via SMS. Your phone number is hashed before being stored in our database; we do not store your number in plain text.
• Account information (optional) — if you choose to create an account, we may collect an email address or display name.
• Usage data — basic usage signals such as the number of plans created or bail actions taken, to help us operate the service. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To send you transactional SMS notifications about plans you are part of.
• To anonymously determine whether all participants in a plan have chosen to bail.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. We do not sell your information to third parties.

4. SMS Notifications and Opt-Out

By providing your phone number to Let's Bail, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to plans you participate in. Message frequency depends on your activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS from Let's Bail. You can re-subscribe at any time by replying START.

5. Third-Party Services

• Twilio— we use Twilio to send and receive SMS messages. Your phone number is transmitted to Twilio for this purpose. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/en-us/legal/privacy.
• Supabase— we use Supabase to store hashed phone numbers and plan data. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
• Vercel— our app is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process request metadata as part of hosting. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain hashed phone numbers and plan data for as long as necessary to operate the service or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at letsbailapp@gmail.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Let's Bail is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the latest revision. Continued use of Let's Bail after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
